DOMAIN

We had the idea of buying a domain alter too much time suffering advertisements and pop-ups in free servers. We wanted our own space, so at the end, we bought pikunikku.net on July, 17th, 2005.

The first step was to choose a name, but it couldn´t  be any, we needed to love it, it needed to be lovely, and it needed a meaning. Looking for a nice name in a Japanese-Spanish dictionary, we found Pikunikku (ピクニック), that means picnic. It sounds sweet and it made us think about our summer dinners.

Then, we only needed to find a good server, not too expensive, and not to hard to use for beginners, like us. After a hard search of hosts and domains, we chose aruba.it. As the web was growing and we needed a bigger server, we change to sync.es.

This is the fourth version of the collective, created by us. The image was taken from internet, but we cannot remember which page. So we would be grateful that, if you recognize this picture as yours, please tell us to write the credits.
